Richard was born on MAR 1707 in Wells, York Co., Me and died on 1781 in Kennebunk, Maine and was buried on 1761 in First Church . He was the son of Caleb Kimball, II (B: ABT 1673/1674) and Susannah Cloyes (Kimball) (1685 - AFT 1721). Richard was married to Catherine Cousins (Kimball) on 1 SEP 1733. Catherine was born on 26 JUN 1715 . She is the daughter of Ichabod Cousins (1688 - AFT 1761) and Ruth Cole (Cousins) (15 NOV 1694 - BEF 23 NOV 1768). He was a Deacon of the Church and was prominent in town
affairs. He had eight children.
Richard was an early settler of Wells and had 7 cows and 8 oxen in 1750.
Had a store in Kennebunk in 1730. Was one on the owners of the
first Vessel in Wells, (built by his brother Nathaniel) in 1755. Built
a sloop in 1767. Left 1/3 of a sawmill to son Richard in 1781.
Richard Kimball II was a deacon of First Church and was prominent in town affairs. He was an early settler of Wells , listed as having 7 cows and 8 oxen in 1750. He had a store in Kennebunk in 1730. He was one of the owners off the first vessel in Wells, built by his brother Nathaniel in 1755. Richard built a sloop in 1767. He operated a sawmill, leaving 1/3 to his son Richard IV in 1781.
Richard had 11 children, 2 with Catherine Cousens and 9 with Hannah Lord.

Hannah: SHACKLEY, b. 21 Apr 1713, Kittery, ME;
daughter of Richard Shackley and Hannah Hodsdon. A 2nd marriage date shows 6 Aug 1740. Apparently Hannah first married Mr. Lord, then married Richard Kimball.
