She was the daughter of Rutledge Thorton Hoffman (1 OCT 1830 - 30 JAN 1916) and Emeline Dixon (Morris) (15 SEP 1843 - 1 DEC 1932).
Blanche was married to William Henry Douglas on 8 JUN 1892 in Elmwood, Ill.
William was born on 26 AUG 1853 in Canada and died on 22 NOV 1923 (age: 70) in Peoria, Ill. and was buried in Hope Cemetery, Elmwood, Ill. .
He was the son of William Douglas (15 SEP 1830 - 15 JUL 1896) and Sarah Maria Jones (Douglas) (18 APR 1831 - 10 DEC 1910).

p.m. Saturday (Aug 3, 1946) in St.Francis
hospital.
Mrs. Douglass, who had made her home in Peoria for the past five years, was born in Marianna Ark., July 1, 1867, daughter of Rutledge and Emeline Dixon Hoffman.
Her marriage was with William H. Douglass in Elmwood June 8, 1892.
He died November 21, 1923.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Naomi Reich, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Norma Hart, Chicago; and Mrs. Imogene Weyeneth, Peoria, with whom she made her home.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Effie Woodward, Springfield, Ill.; a cousin, Mrs. Lura Pulver, Yates City, Ill.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A brother, Charles Hoffman, Los Angeles, died in 1940.
Mrs. Douglass was a member of the First Universalist church.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilton mortuary chapel at 10 a.m.
Tuesday and burial will be in Elmwood.
The Rev. William Atkinson Young will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday afternoon and evening

carriage was introduced, but eventually it drove him out of business.

William H, Douglas, 70 years old, a local resident for 22 years, died at hs home, 603 Cornwall street at
6:30 o'clock last night. He had been ill for the past four months.
Mr. Douglas was born in Sidney Ont., August 26, 1853, the son of William and Sarah Jones Douglas.
He moved to the United States with his parents and settled in Elmwood, Ill., when he was eight years old Mr. Douglas associated with his father in the carriage and wagon making business for many years.
He moved to this city twenty-two years ago. he had ben employed as a special representative for the Aetna Life Insurance compay for 16 years and had traveled for various firms for 30 years.
He married Miss Blanche Hoffman June 8, 1892. Three children were born to them all of whom survive.
Besides his wife, he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Arthur W. Reich, Springfield, Ill., Mrs. Albert T. Hart and Miss Marcia Imogene Douglas both of this city. Three grandchildren also survive him.
Funeral services will be held at Kilpatric chapel, Elmwood, at 2:30 o.clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Elmwood.
