Stanleyn Willis Vandervoort, born in Toronto, Ontario, on 6 September 1891, only son of Joseph Willis Vandervoort and Amelia Edna Vandervoort, He enrolled in the 2nd Canadian Mounted Rifles on 13 November 1915.
