'My mother, Augusta Bertha Ignatius, 'Tootsie', married my father, Edward James Ferguson. He and his parents were all born in this country. I do not know any details because my father's father, 'Big Jim', died about three months before my father was born. My grandmother was Mary Josephine (Molly) McClorey, an Irish Catholic. My grandmother then married Ludwig Braun,changed during emigrationto louis Braun.'
