I am a 5x great grandson of George Lister (baptised 29 August 1784 at Ovingham, Northumberland), son of John & Eleanor Lister. My assumption based on the later settlement of the family in Hett, Durham (close to Kirk Merrington) between 1813-1824 and his occupation as a paper maker based on the baptismal record of his son, John in 1807:
