Theresa was married to Arthur Eugene "Gene" Lamberson .

Arthur was born on 29 JUL 1934 in Hannibal, Mo and died on 7 FEB 1997 (age: 62) in Pekin, Ill and was buried in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery .
He was the son of Robert Arthur Lamberson (8 JAN 1912 - JUL 1985) and Wilma L Roberts (Lamberson) (6 MAR 1913 - 26 JUN 1997).

PEKIN - Theresa R. Lamberson, 72, of 2501 Allentown Road, Pekin, formerly of 444 S. Parkway Drive, passed away Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, at Hallmark Nursing Home.

She was born to Pantelone and Rosa Raimondi Genovese on July 7, 1934, in Ilasco, Mo. She married Arthur E. 'Gene' Lamberson on Sept. 5, 1953, in Ilasco, Mo. He preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 1997.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; four sisters; her son, Arthur E. 'Gene' Lamberson II; and her grandson. Sath Lamberson.
Theresa is survived by her daughter, Carmen (Rick) Bozarth; her sons, Patrick (Barb) Lamberson and Anthony (Sue) Lamberson, all of Pekin, and Carl (Pam) Lamberson of Springfield, Ill. She also leaves behind her sisters, Senta Harbourn of Pekin and Armenia Erlichman of Peoria; her brothers, John Genovese of Canton, Ill., and Sam Genovese of Hannibal, Mo.; her eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.

Theresa worked as a floral designer for Pekin Floral from 1966 to 1975, then for District 108 School Hot Lunch Program from 1976 to 1981, then for Kroger from 1981 to 1985, and then in Home Health Care at the UAW from 1985 until she retired in April 1994.

She was a member of Compassionate Friends, St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at her church. Father Timothy Nolan will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Abts Mortuary and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

Memorials can be made in her name to the Children's Miracle Network.

PEKIN -- Arthur E. 'Gene' Lamberson, 62, of 1842 Columbus Drive died at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 1997, at his residence.

Born July 29, 1934, in Hannibal, Mo., to Robert Arthur and Wilma Roberts Lamberson, he married Theresa Genovese on Sept. 5, 1953, in Ilasco, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother of Pekin; three sons, Carl A., Patrick J. and Anthony G., all of Pekin; one daughter, Carmen M. Bozarth of Pekin; one sister, Patsy L. Benson of Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson. His father; one son, Arthur 'Gene' Lamberson II; one grandson; and one sister preceded him in death.

A member of United Auto Workers Local 974, he worked at Caterpillar Inc. for 30 years, retiring on April 1, 1994. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pekin, where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. James Kruse will officiate. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Abts Mortuary. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
