Bernice:

After graduation I met and married Orville Crowell who was a career Officer in the USAF. We moved to Santa Rosa, CA. when he retired after 22 years of service. We raised our two daughters there and moved to the country with our horses.

After his death in 1987, I moved to Folsom, CA. to be near my youngest daughter, Pamela. I gave up home ownership in 2002 opting instead for an apartment which I thoroughly enjoy. I have two grandsons who keep in touch and vist me regularly. Since I am only 15 miles east of Sacramento I have access to plays and the city life, if I choose. Most of my time is spent in Folsom with my friends, family and my companion, a Jack Russell terrier.

Enlisted in Army Air Corps prior to WWII. Was at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Retired as a Lt. Col. after suffering a heart attack. Died of an aortic aneurism. Managed a movie theatre in Santa Rosa after retirement until he took a job as Supervisor of County Roads for Sonoma County.

Lived at 1663 El Camino Way in Santa Rosa, Ca in 1968.
