After Robert died in 1651, she married Samuel HINKLEY in 1657, the father
of Governor Thomas HINKLEY.

made freeman May 6, 1635 at Lynn, Mass. moved to Sandwich in 1637.
Robert was one of the original proprietors of Sandwich. The Indian title
to the land was purchased by William BRADFORD in 1637, then assigned to
Robert BODFISH, Richard BOURNE and others. In 1640 the lands were
divided and Robert received 5 acres, a little less than average.
In 1641, he was a surveyor of Highways, in 1644 he served on the Grand Jury
and also was licensed to 'draw wine in Sandwich'.
The family all moved to Barnstable, Mass in 1657.
