Michael C. Barneclo, husband of Blanche Hintz Barneclo, passed away November 27th in Naples, FL.
He was born July 20, 1945 to Madge McClure and Wilbur Barneclo.
He graduated from Cathedral Catholic High School. During the summer of 1965-69 he attended classes at the University of Notre Dame.
Michael served in the military in Vietnam from 1966 through 1968.
He started working for United Parcel Service in 1970. He served as Regional and National Air Manager. He also taught for UPS in two schools, namely in Chicago for Regional Area of Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana and portion of Michigan, and defensive driving for management package care and tracker trailer management people.
He retired on long term disability in 1989.
He was a great booster of the University of Notre Dame.
Michael is survived by his wife, Blanche; one daughter, Kelly Steffen Lindell; son-in-law, Michael; two brothers, Daniel and William, all in Indianapolis; one sister, Sherry Gregory of Cincinnati; four grandchildren, Brandon and Elizabeth Axsom, Jansen and Alex Steffen.
Michael was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Axsom and son-in-law, Eric Steffen.
