Z The
only documentation of Daniel s heritage was on his death certificate in the
Castleton
clerk s office which shows his parents as Wm and Abby (
could
mean that Catherine was their daughter but there is no documentation of
either
of her parents. However, Catherine s
only child was named Abbie. Daniel
had a
daughter Abbie
Gandal
married into. It seems plausible that
Abby died young and that William
waited
several years before remarrying thus explaining the long period between
Catherine and Daniel s births vs William s next series of children.
